REDUCERS & ADAPTORS™
SHIMPAC® REDUCER and ADAPTOR products are designed to provide a strong, stable converter for oversize chambers, sumps gullies or pipes and culverts to different sized ironwork. They enable the reduction of a larger bore or aperture to a smaller bore and a smaller bores or apertures to oversize ironwork.
SHIMPAC® REDUCERS and ADAPTORS are used in the UK by leading housing developers, road operators, water and utility companies typically for drainage installations. For example, reducing 600mm chambers to support 450mm inspection covers. Other sizes are also available to suit site specific requirements.
SHIMPAC® REDUCERS and ADAPTORS are highly versatile and can be used in any area where safe ironwork installation is critical, including roads and high-speed carriageways, central reservations, verges, pavements, driveways, car parks, docks, airports and rail environments.
Each SHIMPAC® REDUCER and ADAPTOR pack is made up of three sizes, to give a stepped reduction for optimum strength, with a round or square central hole depending on the cover shape required.
